The United States has announced that three hackers backed by the North Korean government will be sanctioned for carrying out cyber attacks to fund the development of weapons of mass destruction.
The US Treasury Department announced on September 13 that it will impose sanctions such as asset freezing on the North Korean hackers called “Lazarus” as well as the closely related “Brunorov” and “Andariel” groups.
