The alarm came to the police at 23.28 on Friday evening.
One of the knife-cut men then alerted 112 that he had been attacked. Shortly afterwards, several witnesses also called the police.
"When we found out what the two people are knife-cut, that is, two younger men in their 20s," says Anders Gustavsson, guard officer at the police.
The police have blocked two areas in central Karskoga. This is the place where the men were found but also the place where the police believe the crime was committed.
- We work with barriers and interrogate witnesses. We will eventually hear the plaintiffs when they are finished, says Anders Gustavsson.
The police describe both men as talkable. One of them is less easily injured while the other's injuries are more obscure and examined during the night.
According to the police, the police regional intervention force was nearby and then moved out to assist with the investigation.
- They happened to be on duty so they are there and help now, says Anders Gustavsson at 1.30.
According to the police, there is no suspect for the knife attack - however, there are several witnesses who should have seen what happened. The police are investigating it as a suspected attempted murder.
