23 young people from different parts of Sweden meet in a fight in football freestyle. It is about having control, being creative, skilled and at the same time keeping your nerves in control when going up in front of the judges on stage. Olle Wallinder and Viktor Olofsson from Gothenburg arrange the competition.

- We arrange this together with the district of Västra Göteborg. We have a non-profit association, the Swedish football freestyle community, where every year we aim to organize a football championship in Sweden and last year it was in Landskrona. This year we run together with Gothenburg. The municipality was very positive to help so together we have rigged this together, says Viktor Olofsson.

How much do you have to train to become good?

- I try to exercise two to three hours a day six days a week. Before major championships, there is a little more, about twice a day.

Battle: 30 seconds was for three minutes

Football freestyle goes out in a so-called battle, where the participants run a three-minute match where you get 30 seconds to show what you go for and then you change. The judges look at, among other things, difficulty, style, control and creativity. 23 contestants will be 16, who will then settle for a final place in the Miami World Cup next year.

- I've been for four and a half years so I haven't practiced this sport for a long time. But I got stuck for it right away. It's such a welcoming bunch so you get stuck right away. And now I'm here and arranging the SM, so it's fun, says Olle Wallinder.
