“Czech President Milos Zeman, a man of high culture, has already expressed his sharply negative opinion on the export of the monument to Marshal Ivan Konev,” TASS quoted Medinsky.

He noted that the majority of Czech citizens and residents of Zeman support the opinion.

On September 12, the Czech president called shame the decision to move the monument to Konev.

Earlier, the authorities of the Prague-6 district, on the territory of which the monument is located, decided to transfer it to the museum.
