“Police are investigating the burglary of a work of art from Blenheim Palace. A stolen work of art is an expensive gold toilet, exhibited in the palace, ”the message says.
According to police, in connection with the incident, one person was arrested - a 68-year-old man. Police suggest that a group of intruders used two cars to commit this crime.
According to RIA Novosti, the toilet is made of 18 carat gold by Italian conceptual artist Maurizio Cattelan. He was one of the installations housed in the palace. The cost of a gold toilet is estimated at about 1 million pounds.
