In 2019, Rosstandart experts conducted scheduled and unscheduled inspections of more than 200 gas stations belonging to both large chains and independent gas stations, and recorded 39 violations.

In particular, it turned out that every fifth gas station lacks fuel and almost every 10 gas station has low-quality gasoline and diesel.

Rosstandart reported that since the beginning of the year, about 200 complaints have been received from Russians about gas shortages and about 350 reports about poor fuel quality, which is 36% more than last year.

In May, Rosstandart noted an improvement in the situation with fuel quality in the Russian market.
