Pope visits Japan in November, September 13, 16:13
The Pope announced that the Pope will visit Japan from November 23 to 26.
During his stay, Pope Francis will visit Hiroshima and Nagasaki in the bombed areas to send a message to abolish nuclear weapons.
We will also have a meeting with the Emperor in Tokyo and a meeting with Prime Minister Abe to open a large mass at Tokyo Dome.
This is the first time that the Pope has visited Japan for 38 years since John Paul II in 1981.
