The mayor of Levallois-Perret, Patrick Balkany, sentenced Friday to four years in prison firm for tax evasion and imprisoned, filed in the wake of a request for release, it was learned from a judicial source.

His lawyers immediately appealed the judgment and filed this application for release while their client was imprisoned at the prison of health in Paris.
This application for release will be examined by the Paris Court of Appeal, which must rule within two months.
