Basketball: Spain return to the final of the World Cup thirteen years after its title

Spain qualified for its second final of the World Basketball Championship, thirteen after its 2006 title, beating Australia after two extensions, 95 to 88, Friday in Beijing.

The Spaniards will face Sunday France or Argentina for the gold medal. They won in a suspenseful final thanks to their pivot Marc Gasol (33 points). Conducted during most of the game, they equalized only 8 seconds from the end of regulation time.
