Sharjah Police have seized a gang of six members from one of the African countries, who practiced forced theft and pickpocketing in industrial areas and Al Wahda Street.

According to the Sharjah Police General Headquarters, these efforts, carried out by criminal investigation and investigation officers at the General Command, are in line with the State's vision to be one of the best countries in the world in the areas of security and safety.

Major General Saif Al Shamsi, Commander of Sharjah Police, praised the efficiency and ability of criminal investigation and detectives to face and control all criminal phenomena, and provide all the possibilities to help achieve that vision, while calling on the concerned authorities to enter the State to review controls for some nationalities, through statistics and analysis of methods. Some of the nationalities were criminalized, and the interrogation of the gang found that four of them entered the country on a visit visa, while the other two were staying illegally.

He appealed to all members of the community, in cooperation with the security services, to report suspicious cases by calling (999) for emergencies and 901 for non-emergency cases.
