“The work on a deep inventory and bringing the legal framework with the Russian Federation and the CIS in line with the modern national interests of Ukraine did not stop,” Ukrainian News reported.

The Foreign Ministry emphasized that the duration of the process was caused by the need to comply with all procedures and the process of formation of state authorities after the election.

The department promised a further inventory of the legal framework and the termination of those documents that no longer meet the interests of Kiev.

Earlier, the Kommersant newspaper reported that after Zelensky’s inauguration, Kiev stopped sending notifications to terminate bilateral agreements to Moscow.

This process began under the former Ukrainian leader Petro Poroshenko.
