INTERVIEW

A year ago, President Emmanuel Macron presented the 90 measures of the "poverty plan", among which create more places in crèches, extend the social assistance to childhood (ASE) until 21 years, set up a public service of insertion, and a universal income of activity. Louis Gallois, president of the National Federation of Solidarity Actors (FAS) and former boss makes the assessment on Europe 1 Thursday.

"Last year, we welcomed a number of decisions taken," says the former CEO of the SNCF. "Undoubtedly, many measures have been put in place, such as the mix of crèches, the free breakfast and the development of integration through economic activity (IAE)." Muriel Pénicaud announced Tuesday that the budget for the IAE will pass the billion mark in 2020 - against 900 million this year - to fund 20,000 additional positions for people very far from employment.
