Pupils were evacuated from school - the emergency exit was blocked

The principal of the school is Cecilia Sokol.

- We have evacuated the school because the demolition mass fell on the house wall. We chose here at the school to let the students go home, she says.

However, when the students were to be evacuated, the emergency exit was blocked.

- Of course, it does not feel safe, but now we must guarantee here for our part that the safety is maintained.

How could an emergency exit be blocked?

It is the building next door that is being demolished because a second part will be built for the school. It was during that work that demolition material fell on one school wall. The principal believes that the school building has no visible damage, but says that she is waiting for a technical examination before some students are allowed to return to school.

- We are not going to let the students go to school until we have an emergency exit that works.

Adjacent to the school building is also an orientation shop. According to the Vice-Chancellor, the deal must have been damaged due to the same demolition work. The store and school should also share the emergency exit that was blocked. The students got out of school through the store instead.
