Prime Minister reacted Thursday on TF1 to the indictment of the President of the National Assembly.

Richard Ferrand, indicted in the Mutuelles de Bretagne case, can he maintain his position as president of the National Assembly? When Gilles Bouleau asked him the question Thursday night, on the set of the TF1 news, Edouard Philippe simply replied: "I believe it." Before testifying his "friendship", his "total support" and his "confidence" to MP LREM.

Confidence, he said, "in his ability to assert his innocence when he can do it in court." Edouard Philippe also recalled that as Prime Minister "who directs the action of the government, speaking on a court decision is impossible."
