A new law from September 1 means that Texas residents do not have to ask permission to bring guns into the church.

"I pray that I don't have to use it, but the development is very worrying," says Assemblyman David Nesselrode.

The pastor of the church, who is himself armed, is okay with the members of the church carrying weapons.

"I'm rather overly cautious than a disaster happens," says Reagan Cooksey.
