"I've never had reason to distrust my mother," he says in interrogation.

He states in the hearing that he has been paid monthly by his mother a sum of 5000 SEK. He himself thought that he worked for an hourly wage and that his mother gave him assignments when the need existed.

Employed in case of staff shortages

According to interrogation with the suspected head of unit, it appears that she proposed that the municipality could employ her son as early as 2004 when there was a staff shortage. From 2009 she became supervisor for her son and later was given the task of certifying his salary. She must also have signed a full-time employment contract for the son and also written on forms in the son's name.

- It just rolled on, says the mother in a police interview.

The mother says that her son worked sporadically and for some years did not work at all. In the meantime, she herself will perform some of his duties to cover up his absence, she explains.

She describes in police questioning that she thinks she received SEK 10,000 each month for performing some of her son's work and for paying part of his bills and household expenses.

Took out the son's wellness money

In the police interview, the mother will be asked if she has taken out the son's health care allowance. She acknowledges that she has filed receipts for, among other things, massage treatments. However, it was not her son who should have gone to the treatment, but herself. Something she commented on "maybe she thought she needed a treatment when she was working so much".
