The Meshchansky court of Moscow canceled the preventive measure in the form of a recognizance not to leave the persons involved in the case of the Seventh Studio, including director Kirill Serebrennikov, Interfax reports.
“The court considers it possible to cancel the recognizance not to leave as a measure of restraint, since it is no longer necessary,” the judge said in a decision.
Earlier it was reported that the court returned to the prosecutor a criminal case on embezzlement of budget funds in respect of Serebrennikov.
