The department noted that at the time of preparing the response to the appeal, the Excel file that appeared in one of the Telegram channels was not available.

“As far as we know, the file was deleted by the chat and channel administrators. In this regard, it is not possible to establish reliably the fact of illegal use of personal data of citizens, ”the message said.

As indicated, in order to confirm or refute the facts of illegal data processing, the agency is obliged to identify such a violation on the merits of the arguments.

This may be materials containing the personal data of the applicant, url-addresses.

“In addition, unscheduled inspections, as indicated by the deputy head of Roskomnadzor for the Central Federal District in the response, can only be carried out subject to the availability of materials confirming the violation of their rights,” the report emphasizes.

Earlier, Roskomnadzor entered the Internet forum into the register of violators of the rights of personal data subjects in connection with the placement of a database with information about 900 thousand customers of Russian banks.

In August, the department filed a lawsuit to block sites with personal data of Russians.
