It was last week that they decided to stop the expansion of the broadband. The reason is that the work risks exceeding the budget decided by the Swedish Board of Agriculture.
This means that Finnäs, Prästudden and Näset will not have broadband intervened in 2019. Now the municipality's goal is instead that households in the areas will have broadband intervened next year instead. But for this to be possible, you need to get approved by the Swedish Board of Agriculture.
"We will hear from you as soon as we have received an answer from the Swedish Board of Agriculture," says Mikael Lindfors, chair of the municipal council.
