A 21-month-old girl suffered last Sunday the attack of a dog, of German shepherd breed, while she was at home, a detached house located in the place of O Ponto, in the municipality of Narón (A Coruña).
According to sources consulted by Europa Press, the minor suffered significant damage to the face and head and, immediately, was transferred to the emergency department of the Architect Hospital Marcide de Ferrol, where she received the first assistance. However, due to the severity of the injuries , she was referred to a health center in the city of A Coruña.
Apparently the dog had been living with the family for several years and had never shown an aggressive attitude .
As a result of this incident, members of the Narón Local Police were responsible for preparing a report and it has already been sent to the Ferrol guard court to try to clarify the event, which has caused shock between the family and relatives of the child attacked
