The Department of Statistics and Community Development in Sharjah has completed the survey of jobseekers registered in the Human Resources Department of the Emirate citizens, in accordance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

The survey aims to support the efforts of the Ruler of Sharjah to provide employment opportunities for the citizens of the emirate in the public and private sectors through updated data for job seekers and their living conditions.

The survey, which lasted from 5 to 10 September, targeted 12,806 job seekers, in two ways: the first by sending a text message with a questionnaire link to all job seekers registered in the Department of Human Resources of the Emirate citizens, and the second through the contact center In the department with job seekers who have not received the text message for any reason.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Statistics and Community Development, confirmed the Department's keenness to complete the questionnaire survey of job seekers at the speed required, and in accordance with scientific mechanisms and modern methods of data collection, in response to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council Ruler of Sharjah, to provide the concerned authorities with the necessary data, pointing out the importance of this project in overcoming obstacles to young Emiratis seeking work, and utilizing their energies in the institutions of the public and private sectors, and achieve integration between them, and up to social development Sustainable economic and the Emirate.

He explained that the call center, which belongs to the department, works to verify the data and complete the information from the stakeholders, to be completed within a week from the date of the end of the survey process, and the call center seeks to reach individuals who did not fill the questionnaire self-for any reason prevent researchers For a work of self-response, or for any technical reason prevent the text message from reaching them, to ensure that this survey includes all job seekers.

He pointed out that the questionnaire included several axes, including identifying the breadwinner of the job seeker, the source of his income, and the number of individuals who depend on him, in addition to knowing the extent of the researcher to get a job opportunity, and the extent of acceptance or rejection of them, and the questionnaire provided access to information on the current status of the registrar.
