“Is such strictness now necessary in relation to the status of the president and in relation to impeachment? This is very doubtful. Does Ukraine really have no more pressing problems: problems of housing and communal services, payments, jobs ... This imitation of active work is unlikely to affect the improvement of the population’s life, ”the analyst said.
Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a bill by President Vladimir Zelensky on the impeachment procedure for the head of state.
The corresponding bill was supported by 245 deputies.
