Kopaygorodsky and the head of one of the construction companies, Andrei Donchenko, went to the finals of the competition for the position of mayor.
As a result of the secret ballot, Kopaygorodsky’s candidacy gained 44 votes, and no one supported Donchenko’s candidacy.
“The commission decided to elect Kopaygorodsky as the head of the city of Sochi,” said Liodt.
Earlier, Andrei Chibis won the election of the governor of the Murmansk region.
