Other indications were the testimony of the plaintiff's mother, who provided during the trial " very specific data on the belonging, location and interior distribution of the villa" where Julio Iglesias was staying those days, and the "very obvious physical resemblance" between the singer and The plaintiff himself.

Regarding this last aspect, the ruling indicates that, "although it could be the result of chance, however, it would be an excessive and unlikely chance that, having the actor that great resemblance and having been conceived precisely in the approximate days" when his mother and Julio Iglesias agreed in the same party room, "his father was a third party".
The appeal of the lawyer of the singer thus follows the wake of the one presented by the Provincial Prosecutor's Office of Valencia on July 30, considering that the matter had already been tried and that, therefore, only his dismissal could fit.
The Public Ministry argued that the parent, María Edite Santos, acted on behalf of her son in previous judicial claims of paternity that did not prosper, and that the plaintiff himself appeared in the appeal and filed the appeal and the amparo, "without the claim being different".
