Several left-wing politicians denounce on Tuesday the insufficiency of the envelope of 750 million euros over three years allocated the day before the emergency services, strike for more than six months, by the Minister of Health Agnès Buzyn.

PCF spokesman Ian Brossat told RFI that the measures announced were "not up to par" after the "series of bloodletting" carried out by the minister "for two years" in terms of resources for the hospital.

"We are dealing with a minister who took six months to realize this crisis and who finally propose measures that do not translate into additional positions," he was offended.

At the insubordinate France, MP Eric Coquerel had estimated Monday on Twitter that "the Emergency Health Plan still bypasses the same problem: give back to the public hospital means that have been deprived for 20 years."

"The government does not provide for the opening of beds or recruitment of staff, the main demands of emergency doctors," said the Socialist Party in a statement.

Just weeks before the parliamentary debate on the draft Social Security Financing Bill 2019, he asked that the National Health Insurance Expenditure Target (Ondam) for 2020 "be increased significantly", while the head of PS PS Valérie Rabault feared on Twitter that Ms. Buzyn "cut credits elsewhere to finance its ads."

On the right, MP LR and former Budget Minister Eric Woerth said Monday on BFMTV that the 750 million were currently "not funded". "There is no one to pay them, if not the debt, which is the case of almost the entire budget of the country at the moment. It is clear that the country is letting go of the gates."

For Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, president of Debout France, this plan "looks like a plaster on an infection" and "does not address the real causes of the emergency crisis," he regretted on Twitter.

Accused by the unprecedented strike affecting emergency services for almost six months, Agnès Buzyn detailed Monday a "refoundation pact" of 750 million euros over three years, but not providing for the beds or additional staffing claimed by the strikers.

Among the dozen measures unveiled are some novelties such as the creation of a "service of access to care", 50 new medical homes on duty or a reform of emergency financing.
