It started with a tweet last spring. Together with two friends he will now ride a bicycle from Mönsterås to Skellefteå to see the premiere match between IK Oskarshamn and Skellefteå. The distance is about 120 km and by their side they have a companion car in the form of a camper van.

The tweet he sent really had nothing to do with hockey. It was about football and whether Liverpool would win a match or not.

- I sent out a certain tweet that Liverpool would beat Barcelona by 4-0. I wrote, if Liverpool solves this advancement, then I will cycle to IK Oskarshamn's series premiere against Skellefteå. And they did it against all odds, says Anders Hauge.

18 miles a day

The tweet got a big spread and on September 5 they started their journey. They plan to cycle 18 miles a day and be up on Friday, the day before the actual match.

He regrets the tweet to some extent, but at the same time believes that he must now accept the challenge.

- You can't go back now, then you have to be ashamed all your life.

Hear him tell us more about the challenge in the clip above.
