Also in China, they called on Germany not to send false signals to the radicals in Hong Kong.

On his Twitter page, Joshua Wong commented on his meeting with Maas, noting that he had discussed with the Minister the situation with the protests in Hong Kong.

“I look forward to further discussions with members of the Bundestag in the coming days,” the activist wrote.

Previously, anti-government protesters in Hong Kong gathered around the US Consulate General with American flags and called on US President Donald Trump to “protect them.”
