24 children are missing in Norrköping's schools - the municipal council wants to see action
24 children did not return to school after the summer holidays. That figure should be zero, according to Norrköping municipal council Kikki Liljeblad (S), who has now initiated initiatives.
She states in a statement that in some of the cases with the missing children it may be about natural causes and that the reporting to the municipality did not work, but that in other cases it may be about children who, against their will, have been removed to the families' homelands in order to "Retrained" or married.
- Every individual is too much, the school duty applies and is a right for all children. Norrköping is in a way an example in this work, but I am not satisfied until the figure of abducted children is zero, writes Kikki Liljeblad (S), municipal council responsible for education issues.
Now, together with other actors, she wants to discuss how collaboration can be improved. The goal is to come up with a proposal for a decision to counteract the removal of children from Norrköping's schools.
