It was last spring that the man was convicted of raping a woman, at the end of last year, at a party in the wreath municipality he is written in. The sentence was imprisoned for 1.8 years, but the man appealed the verdict, which has therefore not begun to be enforced.

The court hearing on the rape conviction was scheduled for early August this year and, pending that, the man was released.

At the end of July this year - pending court hearings - the man raped another woman in connection with a party. Something he is now being judged for.

The sentence will be imprisoned for two years, the verdict shows that the court wanted to impose a longer sentence, but since the man is likely to lose his employment, the penalty stays at two years, instead of two years and two months. The man will also pay SEK 118,400 in damages to the woman.

District Courts write that there is a risk that the man on the loose may continue his criminal activities and he is being held in custody this time until the verdict gained legal force.
