Belarus's Maksim Nedasekau set the new world's best performance (MPM) of the year in the high jump, crossing a bar at 2.35m on Monday during the Europe-USA match in Minsk, in front of his home crowd.

This bar is also the new personal record of the 21-year-old jumper, vice-champion of Europe in 2018.

The previous MPM belonged to the Russian Ilya Ivanyuk with 2.33 m successful on July 9th. The world record is held by the Cuban Javier Sotomayor since July 27, 1993 with 2.45 m.
