“The Netherlands Prosecutor General’s Office has asked Russia to extradite a witness in the case of MN17 Vladimir Zemakh,” Algemeen Dagblad reports.
According to law enforcement agencies, Tzemakh can play an important role in the investigation and trial of this incident.
On September 7, Zemakh was handed over to the Russian side in the course of the exchange of held persons between Moscow and Kiev.
In July 2014, the Malaysia Airlines Boeing crashed following the flight MH17 from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur in the sky over the Donetsk region.
As a result of the crash, all 283 passengers and 15 crew members were killed.
