“We are very pleased that the situation in Moldova has stabilized as a whole,” RIA Novosti quoted Putin as saying.
He noted that relative stability can be used to develop the economy and bilateral ties.
Moldovan President Igor Dodon thanked Putin for his support.
“Since June in our bilateral relations there have been changes for the better, there is contact at all levels,” he added.
Earlier, Dodon announced a reduction in the price of Russian gas for Moldova.
