At the start of the semester, the students at the upper secondary school were awarded a so-called food card, which is charged with SEK 55 each day, which applies to five different lunch places with which the school management has concluded an agreement.

- That money is not enough to get good food at a restaurant, and also serves 4 out of 5 restaurants that the card applies to only fast food, says Adam Rahm, who is not satisfied with the new situation.

In the clip, Adam explains more about why he chose to strike at school.

We have a solution going on

The school management believes that they take students 'and parents' criticism seriously, and that they are now working on developing a new food solution for the students.

- We have rooms where students can eat and we are currently investigating a catering alternative, but we do not yet know it will be ready, says Cecilia Sokol, who is the principal of the school.
