About sixty people have been evicted preventively from the Los Lagos del Serrano urbanization in El Ronquillo (Seville), due to the forest fire recorded this afternoon in the Sevillian town.

As reported by the Emergency Service 112 Andalusia, the City Council of El Ronquillo has enabled the municipal sports center to house those who need it after the preventive evacuation made by the proximity of the flames to the homes.

On the other hand, some residents of the area have decided to voluntarily leave their homes in prevention.

At this time, level 1 of the Forest Fire Emergency Plan remains active in its provincial phase declared by the Delegation of the Andalusian Government in Seville.

Level 1 is declared in those fires that, being able to be controlled with the means of extinction provided for in the Plan, the need for the implementation of measures for the protection of people and property is foreseen due to their possible evolution.

As for the means deployed by the INFOCA Plan, through the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Sustainable Development, a total of 1 40 troops work between land and forest firefighters, in addition to seven self-propelled vehicles, the Medical Unit for Forest Fires (UMIF) and the Mobile Meteorology and Transmissions Unit (UMMT). Throughout the night, the relay of the intervention teams from the provinces of Córdoba and Cádiz will be incorporated.

As reported by the direction of the Extinction, the evolution of the fire is favorable and the measures of action are focused on the flank with the most active points.

Among the media displaced to the site are also advisors, coordinators and specialists of Andalusia Emergencies (112, Andalusia Emergency Group -GREA- and Civil Protection), the Public Health Emergencies Company (EPES), Civil Guard, Body Unit National Attached to the Junta de Andalucía in Seville, Fire Deputies, Local Police and the Provincial Fire Consortium that is protecting the perimeter of homes.

The delegate of the Andalusian Government in the province, Ricardo Sánchez, has moved to the site to continue the work. and the delegate of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Sustainable Development, Isabel Solís, who together with the Deputy Director of Emergencies of the Ministry of the Presidency, Public Administration and Interior, Juan Ramón Rodríguez, have held a coordination meeting in which they have analyzed the development of the work carried out and the appropriate decisions for the control of fire and the attention of the evicted.

Since the beginning of the fire, at around 6:00 p.m., Telephone 112 Andalusia has answered more than fifty calls from citizens alerted to the fire and requested information from the Board's Emergency Service.
