Winston Churchill's grandson, Britain's World War leader, sees no resemblance between his distinguished grandfather and current Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

"Boris Johnson is not like Winston Churchill at all," Sir Nicholas Sums said in an interview published in The Times on Saturday. "I don't think anyone called Boris a diplomat or a statesman."

“Winston Churchill was like that because of the experiences he had in his life,” Sums said. "Boris Johnson's life experience is telling lies about the EU in Brussels, and then he became prime minister."

"He doesn't like the House of Commons," the veteran politician said. "He is engaged in his obsession with Brexit, bringing us out with or without an agreement."
