"At night, the plane and tank of the Israeli Armed Forces attacked several military targets of the Hamas terrorist organization in the northern part of the Gaza Strip in response to five missiles previously fired from the Gaza Strip," the Israeli Army said in a statement.
Earlier, two Palestinians, including a teenager, were killed in clashes with Israeli soldiers on the borders of the Gaza Strip.
On September 1, the Israeli military announced that in response to the aggression, more than 100 artillery shells were fired at Lebanon.
