“We have repeatedly invited Ukrainian politicians to the Crimea. And Sergei Aksyonov is absolutely right in the sense that if Zelensky came to the Crimea, then, on his return, he simply could not have voiced any other position, except that the Crimea is part of Russia. Although in reality, in my deep conviction, both Zelensky and very many representatives of the Ukrainian political elite understand this. Crimea is Russia and our peninsula will never return to the Ukrainian state. But for them it’s a very convenient topic, which allows us to manipulate the public consciousness in the world, the public creation in our own country, ”said Ganzhara.

The deputy noted that in his opinion, "the vast majority of Ukrainian citizens are also well aware that Crimea is part of Russia."

“This is evidenced by the number of Ukrainian tourists who rested over the past summer season on our peninsula, it approached a million,” he concluded.

Earlier, the head of the Crimea invited Zelensky to visit the peninsula.
