Here is Oskarshamn's first Pride train through town: "En succe"

The organizers themselves counted between 800 and 1000 participants in the Pride parade, which went two laps through the center of Oskarshamn.

- I grew up here and felt that I didn't have the freedom to be gay. If this had happened in my time I would have dared to come out earlier, says Simon Nord, who recently moved back to Oskarshamn from Stockholm.

- It was so much love today.

According to him, 34 different associations, companies and parties participated.

- We are so happy that so many Oskarshamners are joining us. There were an incredible number of people who came forward and said that this was needed, says Linn Engelholm, organizer.
