It was on Wednesday that seven of the 23 crewmen from Stena Impero were released.

- They are in transit between the ship and their home countries and will pass through Dubai, says Erik Hånell, Stena Bulk's CEO, to SVT.

Hånell says that the shipping company is now doing what they can to get the seven home in the best way.

- We have prepared to debrief them and to help them in any way they need.

How are those released?

- We don't know yet. We haven't met them yet, but will do it during the day down in Dubai.

Seizures in July

The British-flagged ship is owned by the Swedish shipping company Stena Bulk and was seized by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard on July 19. The 16 crew members still on board are needed to meet the safety requirements for a minimum crew.

- We know that they are physically in good shape, but under great psychological pressure, says Erik Hånell about those who remain on board.

He says that the shipping company is now continuing the work of releasing the other 16 in the crew and then trying to bring home the ship Stena Impero.
