At 0:30 on Wednesday night, a car drove off the road and ended at E4 at Börjeslandet outside Luleå.
Police suspect the driver of the car, a 40-year-old man, was under the influence of drugs and he was taken for trial.
The police have prepared a report of suspected drunken driving, drug offenses and unlawful driving.
