Moscow authorities have proposed not to take children to schools without vaccinations

This, according to TASS, said the deputy head of the Department of Education and Science of the city of Moscow Alena Shakhova.

According to her, there will be exceptions only for those children who have medical contraindications.

Chairman of the Moscow City Duma Alexei Shaposhnikov noted that the legislative initiative will be discussed with representatives of the State Duma, however, according to the Constitution of Russia it is impossible to deprive a child of education.

“I am sure that in the autumn session, together with the State Duma deputies, we will discuss this bill and will come out as a subject of legislative initiative to colleagues in the State Duma. We, in accordance with the Constitution of Russia, cannot deprive a child of education; the maximum that we can go to if we are not vaccinated is to transfer to home schooling. But we can introduce regulatory methods in the absence of vaccinations, ”he said.

Earlier, a general practitioner, immunologist Irina Yartseva in an interview with NSN spoke about the importance of vaccination.

In early June, Russian Minister of Health Veronika Skvortsova on the sidelines of SPIEF-2019 said that her department has prepared a bill aimed at blocking sites offering citizens a refusal of vaccinations.
