The preliminary medical report issued by the private Oasis Hospital revealed the details of the attempt to revive the son of the late Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi, before he died on Wednesday evening.

"At 9:30 pm on Wednesday evening, Abdullah Morsi was taken to the hospital by his friend, who was with him by car, after his cardiovascular and respiratory tract stopped, where he arrived with signs of death," the report said.

According to the report attributed to the hospital that the cardiac pulmonary resuscitation was immediately started according to medical protocols followed by the installation of a laryngeal tube and lasted for up to 44 minutes.

The death was announced after the absence of any response to the heart throughout the recovery period, as well as the absence of any reflex to the brain, whether lighting or touch, and the absence of any electrical activity of the heart or respiratory movement in the chest.

In a related context, Ahmed Morsi denied the news circulated by the media about his detention with his brother Omar, pointing out that the family is still in the process of completing the procedures for receiving Abdullah's body for burial, without further details.

Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi is Egypt's first democratically elected president, and his defense minister, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, was overthrown in a military coup on July 3, 2013 and placed in prison.

In June, she announced the death of the ousted president during a court appearance in Cairo.

His son, Osama, is still in detention, and activists have launched a social networking site called "Talaa'usama_defen_brother", hours after Abdullah's death, to demand that his family participate.
