The head of state said this at a meeting of the State Council on the development of the Far East in Vladivostok.
“One of the main indicators is the population size, demographic situation. I must say that so far this indicator is in an alarming, red zone, ”Putin said.
He noted that the influx of population into the Far East is growing, "but this influx does not cover the number of people who leave the region."
