Prosecutor General of Ukraine fired prosecutors in four regions of the country

“On September 3, 2019, guided by the Law of Ukraine“ On the Prosecutor's Office, ”the Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka signed orders for the dismissal of prosecutors from the Vinnitsa, Zhytomyr, Odessa and Cherkasy regions,” the statement said.

Ryaboshapka previously told reporters that he intends to hold senior officials accountable weekly, as well as return as much stolen assets as possible to the country.

On August 30, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky appointed Ryaboshapka as Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
