“I would like to remind you that this is the first visit to Moscow of the new head of the Moldovan foreign ministry after the formation, respectively, of a new government in this country in June this year,” added Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova during the briefing.

It is noted that the foreign ministers of the two countries intend to exchange views on pressing issues of Russian-Moldovan interaction and international issues.

Earlier it became known that Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold talks with Moldavian leader Igor Dodon on Saturday, September 7.
