According to him, the events that took place in Bulgaria and in the world after 1944 were agreed in advance between the USSR, the USA and Great Britain.
“Everything that happened after 1944 in Bulgaria and 1949 in the world - everything was agreed upon by the countries that took part: the Soviet Union, the USA, Great Britain. And this is not the decision of only one of these states, ”he said.
The ex-minister of Bulgaria also said that such an "inadequate" position of the Foreign Ministry complicates relations with Moscow.
Earlier, Bulgaria proposed that Moscow revise the “dubious historical thesis” about the liberating role of the USSR war against Germany during the Second World War for Europe.
The Russian embassy expressed bewilderment in connection with this statement.
