“In particular, they make large investments in the Far East in cooperation with Russian companies, including through the Sakhalin-1 and Sakhalin-2 projects,” Abe said.
He added that Japan’s total investment in the Far East, "including these projects, exceeded $ 15 billion, and further investment is expected in the future."
