It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the lawyer of ex-president Sergei Slesarev.
“The court did not satisfy our complaints, recognized the detention and arrest as legal,” he said.
Earlier, the court decided to leave Atambayev in custody until October 26.
On August 8, Atambayev was detained by security forces on the territory of his residence and then taken to the Main Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
On June 27, the Kyrgyz parliament deprived Atambayev of immunity. He is suspected of involvement in five crimes and was summoned for questioning several times.
