The finder was sitting outside on Saturday when she saw something green that swished past her head. The bird sat on a fence and some squirrels began to show interest in the cage bird. The woman thought that now good advice was expensive. The temptation attempts were initially futile.

- Then she went in and googled how to attract the bird and then played the bird song. Then it came and sat on her head and she slowly walked in with the bird on her head.

The happiest thing in the story is that the finder had birds in the past and had cages at home. Food was procured and the cage was made in order and then the police were contacted, who posted a picture and text about the found bird on facebook.

"We are now doing what we can to find the owner," says Anna Köhlqvist, caretaker at the Sundsvall police.

What happens if you can't find the owner?

- We don't know that at the moment. The finder does not claim the bird. Animals that we do not find the owner of, we must consider if we should sell.

Anyone with information on the found bird can contact the police's lost goods department.
