The Madrid City Council has ordered that part of the villa located in the Chamartín district in which the leaders of VoxIván Espinosa de los Monteros and Rocío Monasterio reside for not complying with the legal requirements, as determined by the Contentious Court Administrative number 14 of Madrid, which dismissed an appeal of the deputy.
According to municipal sources confirmed to EL MUNDO, housing, with more than 500 square meters and four floors, lacks licenses . Eldiario.es, which has advanced the information, has detailed that it does not have a compulsory occupancy license to be able to reside in it and also does not have the necessary operating license to perform economic activities there.
The leaders of Vox reside in this house with their four children. After acquiring it in 2014, they carried out a series of works and the Madrid City Council asked them to regularize the situation. The deputy has asked for licenses on several occasions but has never provided the necessary documentation, they have indicated from the Planning Department to this newspaper.
The Consistory, which has sent the notification to the architecture firm of the regional deputy, Rocío Monasterio y Asociados SL, plans to close the basement of the chalet on October 8 to prevent any business activity from taking place there.
There is no recourse against the order and the closure will remain "as long as it is not proven to be in possession of the mandatory license", as reported by eldiario.es citing a resolution of the Legal Department of Urban Discipline of the City Council of the capital.
